I apologize for the poor photo but what can do this to a leaf over-night ?
Jap beetles haven't hatched here YET.

What kind of plant is it, Scooter? And do you see any shiny spots on the leaves?

..............No tell-tale spots, bug-doo, slime or webs to be found on this brug leaf. I just would like to know what I'm looking for. At this point it is not a big concern , just a leaf here and there.
...................We all know how this could snowball and become a BIG problem.
.........This garden is partial shade and I have the usual assortment of spiders , lady beatles and rolly-pollies (dung beatles) doing their work.
