Hi-
I'm not sure where to post this. Is there a forum for garden problems? If not, how can I suggest one???
Anyways, my swamp milkweed's flower buds are brown and all dried up. I suspect it's from all the rain but they're swamp milkweed, don't they like wet?
Does anyone have this problem and what can I do?
-Thanks for any help

Milkweed problem
Hi Capt, welcome to DG =)
I wish I could help with your milkweed, but I don't have a clue.
Anyway, there is a Garden Foes forum
http://davesgarden.com/f/pad/
but I think they talk more about bugs and weeds and critters . . . Maybe you could try the perennial forum.

Good luck!

I have seen cactus flowers do this when it rains just before they were going to open. And when the same thing happens to something in my garden, I pinch off the bud and mostly the plants make another try. Good luck. Blooms
It looks like a fungal infection of some sort. I would cut the infected blooms off. It's early enough so your plants should recover and send out more flowers.
