I was feeling better and Ralph made me some chicken soup. Now, in the last half hour I am getting the chills so bad, I can hardly type. And to make matters worse, now Ralph is getting it!!! HEEY! I am now at my son's hme...in Crossville, TN.

My baby Tessa jumped in the creek to show off for Scout. Bless her heart....she is a great little swimmer.

We plan to stay here about 2 weeks and rest up....wonder who we can surprise next???

Well you could head for NC, Shoe'd love to see you, ha, ha..and then there's Darius and perhaps a few minutes to see Sparks and maybe even Eleanor....They are all around the same area, somewhat....:)

GREAT GARDENER?? You have all heard what a great gardener Peggy is...??? WELL! This is what greeted me upon my arrival!! Dead as a doornail!! Jo

RR, that's not a real plant...that was a piece of art that Peggy purchased somewhere and wanted people to think she didn't have a green thumb. (She doesn't want anyone to know the truth.) It's not real, it's plastic....:) Right Peggy? LOL

It's just a really late-emerging perennial, right? Kinda like my trumpet vine? No, wait, THAT has little leaf buds on it...

Hey I never said I was a great gardener. lol What Jo is not mentioning is that was last years planter and it's still sitting there because I can't move it. lol

See? Knew there was a good reason? Gee, that planter somewhat resembles the three window boxes I've had on my front porch since last fall...All they're growing is little weed seedlings and some moss. And they're small!

I don't know what in the heck it is made of but it's heavy. We finally got it moved today so I can work on it for this year. Now to decide what I am going to do with it.

Yeah...I was just kidding...her flowers are just beautiful...especially a stand of Poppies....do you call them a "stand"? any how they are a big bunch of them!! Besides, I think she had that sitting there so I wouldn't breathe on her good stuff and kill them! Jo

Jo, how many miles have you and Bob driven so far? I can see you have been having a wonderful time and the "Roadrunner 2004 Journey" is off to a great start. :o)

Carol....we have logged in about 3,000 miles so far...and most of them very enjoyable...except when we get in traffic! Will be in Hopwell/Richmond in the future. Jo

I am now in NC...just over the line from Chesapeake, Va. Visiting my long time friend, Sami!! I will post some pictures and catch you up to my "ramblins" soon. Jo

OK....where did I leave off? OH yes...the TN RU...here is a picture of Grannylois...doesn't she look GREAT? We enjoyed our time at the TN RU and it was nice to meet new friends...plus seeing the ones I had met before. Jo

After the TN RU we stopped in Elizabethton, TN to visit some "cousins" we met on a Family Site we maintain. Enjoyed my time with Brenda and Joe Shell....We parked our camper in Brenda's sisters' driveway for the night. The next morning we crossed the mountains into Boone, NC...Here is my cousin Hayse...DH to LizH. Jo

After enjoying the Wee NC RU and staying with Hayse and Liz for a couple of days....and seeing my cousins, including Ginlyn and SgtDot, we went on to WV to see my sisters and a brother.....we enjoyed a family reunion on Sunday, May 3oth....had over 60 there. Here is my Brother, Mason's family....plus one sweet little girl that belonged in a different family picture!! Haley is a cutie and made both family group pictures...LOL Jo

This is David....Grandson of my sister, MaryK. David is in the National Guard and has been called to active duty for over a year now. He is very handsome!! Jo
