Give your Zone and Town! (Please ;o)

Newark, OH(Zone 5b)

Zones are crazy - I am in zone 5b, but our weather is much different than Karrie's, I'm sure.

Spokane, WA(Zone 5b)

Kim, if you are zone 5b you need to update your member info! ;)

Newark, OH(Zone 5b)

Yes, I do. We are just on the dividing line between 5a and b, though, so it probably doesn't much matter.

Spokane, WA(Zone 5b)

no kidding - lately (last few years) I felt more like a 6 myself. But I will keep that 5b in mind so I don't step over my bounds, during a bad winter.

What am I talking about? I'm zone 10 today! lol!

Newark, OH(Zone 5b)

This is what I mean...We're about 30 miles east of the little dot above Columbus. Zone 6a wraps around our zone 5b area, and there's just a little pocket of zone 5a right in the middle of all that zone 5b. I should have had zone 5b all along; if anything, we border on 6a.

yep - that's a real close call there! Mine is fairly close as well, but I am obviously 5b and today 10 just because I said so. :)

San Diego, CA(Zone 10a)

Lol zone 10 aka sunset 23 is 90+ degrees today. Poor plants are wilting. The sunset zones are the fun ones in southern CA because various canyons have their own special microzone.

Ulrich, I added my zip code but there was no way I could see to add the Sunset zone. I will go back and look again.

Spokane, WA(Zone 5b)

Frog - just makes you want to go give them water and a little shade, eh? get out the canvas, I'll be over in a bit with some pea salad (I wish). I love San Diego. (one of the few places in CA that I like - beautiful area).

Manhattan Beach, CA(Zone 11)

Kermit, unless you are quite a ways inland, you are in 10b. I am confused by the fact that the USDA map referred to doesn't show any letters, so you and I are just in the Poinsettia zone.

Santa Ana, CA(Zone 9b)

102F, frogs! *Established* plants' leaves were pointing at the ground, much less the new ones. 8v(

Spokane, WA(Zone 5b)
