Strawberry season peaked about 2 weeks ago. The berries are still so plump and sweet.

Strawberries! Yum...
Fresh picked....
Eat em fresh...!
Strawberries and yogurt!
Strawberries and cake....and ice cream!

Strawberries dipped in liquid chocolate!
Strawberries balanced on one's nose, walk ten paces, then side-step, they fall right into your mouth!

Great pic, Lisa! (Now I'm hongry!)

'Shoe you missed one. Make really "short" bisquit dough, split 'em in half and load up the partially mashed up strawberries and sugar. The short cake soaks up all the juice and gets real soggy sweet. The BEST strawberry shortcake in the world!!!!!

PS REAL whipped cream makes it complete.

Bread butter peanutbutter and thick strawberry jam. Just finished one with cold milk.

Shoe so hows that for the morning meal. I also had fresh garden cauliflower planted last fall and smoked summer sausage fresh out of the smoke house yesterday. It came out great so did the peperoini. Ernie

Mercy!!! Ya'll are killin' me here! No fair!

Pati, I would always go the "real whip cream" route! Yum, ain't nuttin' like it!

Shucks, between Lisa's strawberries and Ernies smokehouse goodies I just plain don't know how to act! Ya'll are tearing me up!

Ooooh, those look scrumptious. We got some nice ones at the market over Easter weekend, but nothing like those.

Kimberley strawberries are kinda neat planted here and there among your flowers and such a nice little treat to find a nice red one as you are browsing the garden. Everbearing ones make pretty good ground cover to.

Shoe its almost salmon season the ole smoke house will soon be called into action again maybe if you are a good boy I may send you some .Remind me .

Lisa what kind are the big ones? I have a combination of Fort Laramie and some commerical type that comes on and is gone in two weeks. Ernie

Hi ernie, I forgot I posted this! I don't know what kind of berries they were. I planted 50 plants this year, all died but about 3! They were shipped to me with a fungus. These berries were bought from a roadside vendor. yummy, yum, yum.
