I have never grown these, but my sister has these and needs a question on them.
She planted these last spring and they have been not stop with their blooms here in our zone 10. She asked me this morning if there is anything she can do, as they are getting very leggy now and drooping over other plants, etc.
Can she cut these back now or will it kill the plant? Any info in appreciated.
Thanks,
Donna
Helichrysum bracteatum - Strawflowers
Occasionally I have had one winter through and I wouldn't be afraid to give them a haircut.
