Just in case you want to attend a wonderful day-long event, here is one being hosted by the Delaware County Master Gardeners.
On April 2, at the Delaware Hayes High School. From 8:30 am to 3:30 pm.
Speakers will include Debra Knapke ("Perennials for Ohio" and "Annuals for Ohio" author); Mitch Lynd (daylily hybridizer extraordinaire), and many master gardeners on topics including Hostas, Roses, Container Gardening, Insect control, trees and evergreens, photography, landscaping, garden art, tropical plants. Sound good?
The entrance fee is $5. Food will be available for purchase, and many vendors are scheduled. I went to this event a few years ago, and it was superb! I am planning to go this year.
Who else wants to come? These are always so much better if you have gardening friends with you.
OH GANG! "Green Thumbs Gardeners' Fair"
That's not bad for a day's fun, wow. It's soooo early, though, LOL!
It does open early, but the first speaker isn't to start until 9:30, and it goes on all day. Can you try to come at noon? You would still get in on 2 sessions (and the booths).
Rosiesplace is lurking (come out, Von!) She is hoping to go, not sure what time. Windsurffer is going to be kidnapped and taken. Carla, would you like a ride? E-mail me, and I would be happy to stop and pick you up.
