Yep - that's it!

Murfreesboro, TN(Zone 7a)

A while back, someone posted that they spray diluted milk (fresh or powdered, mixed with water - something like maximum 3 parts water to 1 part milk, down to 8 parts water to 1 part milk) plants for control of powdery mildew. The stronger the concentrate, the more likely you are to get a rancid/sour milk smell wafting from your flowers ;o)

Lenexa, KS(Zone 6a)

From the book "Trowel & Error" by Sharon Lovejoy

1 cup milk
9 cups water

Shake well & pour into spray bottle. Apply to infected plants twice weekly. Refrigerate between uses.

Also she lists two other "potions" for mildew.

Garlic Spray
1 gallon water
20 TBSP (1¼ cups) garlic powder

Pour into spray bottle and apply to plants early in the morning.

Spicy Cinnamon Spray
¼ tsp cinnamon
1 quart warm water

Pour into spray bottle and drench both sides of leaves early in the day.

Hope one of these helps. Brenda
