Hibiscus cultivars to die for...

Mableton, GA(Zone 7b)

You pay me and let me play with your animals and I'm there!!! :) lol

Cedar Key, FL(Zone 9a)

OH MY, other people live my life too......

there is no way I can handle a co-op,I tried last year with a SMALL one and still managed to screw up......
You can't work 60 hours a week,run a farm,be a housewife,and still find time to run a co-op.....

besides ,I am sooooooooo disorganized......

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Moretz said she would do it, didn't she? If we could get enough people involved and several colors, I'd order at least two of each, but maybe more.

Moose Jaw, SK(Zone 3b)

Those are soooooooo gorgeous.....you lucky, lucky people!!!!
And I shouldn't have even taken a peek at this thread! :(

Cedar Key, FL(Zone 9a)

they had some of them at the House and garden show but they were 20 bucks each.....

Lima, OH(Zone 5a)

That is a litle much! I would pay $5. to $10. for some really, really nice ones that I don't have.

Country Music was $1.25 ea. from Susie and think I bought about 8-10. Used them for trades, it blooms very easily and is a really pretty one.

hickory, NC(Zone 7a)

i do not have a clue about running a co-op. i wouldnt even know where to begin ,dont you have to have a wholesale # to get those prices? i dont have anursery to get those great prices.
Brugie thanks but no thanks was you going to help?????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL
moretz

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

"i would love to do the co-op ,that is if we do the liners i would be glad to order alot for 2.00 each plmk if you all decide to do the co-op "

I guess I misread your post Moretz. I sure wish someone would do this one, but I just don't have time right now. I have a greenhouse full of plants and it is bursting at the seams the way it is. LOL! I'm sure everyone is pretty busy at this time of the year.

Franklin, LA(Zone 9b)

i just googled "Schizopetalus"
but all i find are pics of solid red ones
:/
hrmmm....
i wonder!
lol

Hattiesburg, MS(Zone 8a)

Every year you all do this to me--and I have to repeat--I can not start collecting another type of plant- over and over. I love those and Hot Ticket is something. I must confess I sneaked a few hibiscus in the greenhouse this winter. Have the Schizopetalus which I always love to see bloom. Kyle great photos.

Lima, OH(Zone 5a)

Barb did your Country Music I sent you, ever bloom?

Dripping Springs, TX

Kyle great pics--but I know you did it just to see us all in a frenzy. LOL Barbara repeat after me "no more plants!" Better yet why don't you use it as your screen saver!
Brugie did you say your in charge of a co-op? LOL

Yukon, OK(Zone 7b)

Oh my!! I would be very much interested in a coop for Hibiscus and the Coleus....and guess what??? I just went through their whole site and I would very much be interested in more! LOL I wish I had the time to do a coop! But right now I can't even keep my head above water with two businesses! And somehow, I'm going to have to convince DH that I will HAVE TO HAVE TIME OFF FOR GARDENING!!! I'm trying to think of how I should bring this up! LOL

Yukon, OK(Zone 7b)

ROFLMBO!!! Shirley, I just couldn't resist this one! Did you click on the home page and scroll down??? You should, I think they are calling your name to do the coop! LOL In big bold black letters it reads....

Need 500 Cajun Color plants shipped to Iowa?

Luv ya!!!

Brin :)

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Brinda, if my greenhouse had room in it, I wouldn't hesitate, but it is overflowing and hibiscus need to stay warm. Iowa wouldn't be the best place to start them from. Darn it anyway!!

Yukon, OK(Zone 7b)

I know Shirley....I just couldn't resist! I thought it was funny and I laughed so hard when I read that!

Plain City, OH(Zone 5b)

Oh pleeeeease could someone down there do a co-op???????

Yvonne

Norwalk, IA(Zone 5b)

Oh My..look what I have started....LOL LOL LOL..need more pics?????? :-)

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Do you think that more pictures will get us past this intense desire to have every single one we see? If so, bring them on, I'm ready to drool some more. LOL!

North Vancouver, BC(Zone 8b)

I'll second that Shirley, I love to look at Eclipse's pics. They're so exotic.

Grass Lake, MI(Zone 5a)

Thanks guys, in the last day or two I have bought 4 ... but I am all for more photos.

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Well where is he? I'm waiting for those pictures. How about that one that is pumpkin color. I loved that one.

Norwalk, IA(Zone 5b)

Rowennas wedding came from a nursery in calif that closed many years back..I saw it in bloom and had to have it! So here it is! I will try to root some cuttings this year and spread it around. Meanwhile look at this one... Fiji Island

Navarre (NW FL), FL(Zone 8b)

I've been following this link to see if it will result in a co-op and nothing as of yet. This is what I found from one supplier..

Pricing- Liners-$3.50....Qts-$10.00....Gallons-$15.00....2Gal-20.00....3Gal-$24.00....
....Specially ordered grafts are $10.00 ea.
There is a $30.00 min to ship plants -Liners are as available with a
minimum order of 30 and are guaranteed only to arrive safely-Please note that growing liners is not for the beginning collector

What exactly is a liner? Do any of you have experience with "liners" and why is it much more difficult? Thanks.

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

Sorry Bugfreak, I have no clue.

Every year I buy a few of the fancy hibiscus and every winter I kill them! I really think you need a GH to keep these happy during the winter. This year, they lasted till just last month. Almost made it!
