We sure have been having some beautiful weather haven't we?!!! These warm spring days are spoiling me!! This is my favorite time of year anyways. I love doing the last minute clean up in the beds and pulling back the leaves to see if there is any signs of new growth. Don't it just do ya heart good when you see that little green knob sticking up out of the soil?!
The warm days really make ya want to get out there and get busy don't it? I've been sleeping alot lately since I've been sick, but shoot with these days lately....I've made myself get out there and get busy! No more wastin the days away in bed or on the sofa for me!!!!!

My DH and I made a rock garden today and put in sedums. I love this weather but I'm afraid Winter ain't thru with us yet!!!

O I know what cha mean Berrygirl, It is soo tempting to get out there and rake all the mulch and leaves out of my beds, but I know better! I learned the hard way on that one!
Years ago I planted about 20 tomatoe plants in hopes of getting a early start on my veggie garden....only to have the one and only blizzard that we have ever had here in Ga to come thru and killed them all!
I at least wait until Good Friday before I plant anything tender outside.
I'm dieing to get started though.
I'm wanting a pond this year so I have tons of stuff that needs moving. So I'm hoping that that all the plants I'm moving now wont be killed by the on coming cold weather that we are due to get this coming week.

Berrygirl, are you transplanting your sedum's?? Or did you buy new plants? Just wondering, because I know that my sedums are so easy to root from cuttings. Mine will nearly take the place if I let them!

Lakemont, GA(Zone 8a)

Mollybee, I had the sedums growing somewhere else that needed to be moved so I put them in my new bed. I'm gonna sew some annual seeds in there, too. Also have daffs. in there, too so I hope to have three season color. I can't wait til they fill in. I think it's gonna be pretty.

Villa Rica, GA(Zone 7a)

Sure sounds like its going to be!
I think with all the stuff I'm going to have to move in order to build the pond...I'm gonna have to build a new bed for them to go in.
Be sure and share pics when ya get it finished, I'd like to see it once it gets in full bloom.
