Bulbs peeking through at me

Baker City, OR(Zone 5b)

The snow is receeding and although we still have plenty of it, there are places where the sun has melted it just enough so I can see daffodill and tulip leaves comming through the mulch. My neighbor called to tell me she had some little sprouts sticking up and I went out to look and sure enough I've got some too!! Well ok, they are only an inch tall but they are there. Oh boy, it is gonna be spring after all!!

Yep, I do believe spring is sprining around here too. I have tons of Daffs blooming along with several yellow crocus.
I even have a pot of Daffs that I potted up late last fall (after the Ga round up) A couple of weeks ago I noticed they were up, so I brought them in the house and they done wonderful !
I just love the first signs of spring don't ya'll?!!
My tulips on the other hand are always much much slower to pop up and bloom.
I have had several blooms on my creeping phlox in the last couple of weeks.
Can't wait til its full blown spring!!!

Congratulations on the blooms Molly and Azalea. Like Mary, we have daffs other spring bulbs popping thru the ground a bit more every day. There is even a nice clump of columbines up an inch or so tall and just as green as if it were mid May.
I'll be so glad when things start blooming here and at the cafe'. And when PG starts blooming it will knock your eyes out.

I am looking forward to Good Friday(April 9th) That is our big day! We are usually safe to plant anything above or below ground after that day. April 9th can't get here quick enough for me :)
