It's 60 degrees on my front porch!

This weather is fantastic! I have little bulbs shooting up - must be the crocus I planted last fall. :) This weather is really a tease! (supposed to snow this weekend) :(

We have been having some 60's here too. It has actually been warm enough at night that I've been hearing the frogs croaking! That usually don't happen for at least another month or more. So I think the frogs much be confused....eaither that or the weather is.
Spring is totally on its way here though, I have several things popping up from the soil and buds are getting fatter on all the trees.
Spring is my favorite, because I love going out and pulling back the leaves and mulch to see if there are any signs of new growth. Its so heart warming to see the little green knobs that have pushed their way thru the soil.
Spring is my all time favorite season :)

Yea I'm hoping all this rain will hold us over the summer months. I'm willing to put up with a little rain if spring would just get here already! LOL

Well, I'm not doing as well as you folks are down south, but it got to almost 50 at my place yesterday.

Funny thing, is it only got to about 54 degrees tops yesterday. We have a concrete front porch that faces the south, so it heats up quick. The thermometer on the front porch always reads warmer because of that. The cat and I went out yesterday and "sun bathed". He slept, I read a little in a book. Felt so nice to have that sun on my skin again! Today it is raining, but they have changed our forecast (again) from snow to rain, so that makes me happy.

I love spring the best of all I think. Its not toooo hot, nor toooo cold. Plus its like all the plants start waking up and peeking out of the soil to welcome the sunshine themselves.
shouldn't be too much longer and spring will be here for sure.

My new puppies have been hating the cold on their little feet, but since the weather has been nice and warm, they have been rolling and playing and laying with their bellies up in the air. Its so funny to see them sunning themselves like that.
My cat on the other hand is a house cat only, so he only gets to sun on the back porch, but he too loves all the birds and sun shine that the warmer weather is bringing us.

Our cat is a housecat only too! He only sits on my lap on the porch! He's scared to death right now of the front door. But when it warms up, he goes out into the yard, sniffs the flowers, hears a car go by and hightails it back to the door. :) Just a matter of time and this declawed turkey butt will be out catching his second bird.

LOL Your kitty sounds like mine. Only mine never goes out, we live on the main road and we have lost sooooo many animals to the speeding cars that we don't want to take any chances with Crazy. He'd love to go out there though, the birds drive him nuts when he's on the back porch(screened in) he'd give anything to get ahold of one of them. But he has to settle for a stray mouse every now and then :)

Does your kitty ever "chirp" by the window at squirrels? lol!

LOL yea I guess you could call it that. He does get a bit mouthy when he sees them and can't get to them. LOL

Mine makes these really "weird" noises, almost chirping! lol! I have to just laugh! :)

Mine actually makes funny cat calls. Sounds like a person sometimes! But then again he's crazy! That is why we named him "Crazy" He talks all the time,even while he has his toys in his mouth, which makes the noise sound that much more weird!
He's the one I've talked about that flushes the toilet, and sits in the bathtub and chatches drops of water with his paw before they drip from the faucet.
He keeps us rolling with laughter!

MAY GAWD - you captured my cat in a nutshell! perhaps these two should meet! NOT! (but if I ever get done south, I would love to meet you! - still have Savannah on my mind)

LOL That'd be funny if they did get to meet.
But it would be nice to meet you in person. Savannah is beautful !! I'm sure you'd love it there! I know the times I've visited there it was so nice. Hey if ya move there, that would give me another excuse to go :)

I need a plane ticket! You are wonderful, and I think our cats would probably just freak out and then find something to play together with! I landed a job today! :) One that I actually wanted!

Although I sure would like to have you join us here in GA, I'm sure Spokane folks are very lucky to have you there :)
