chicago botanical show???

Is anyone in the midwest area going to the show in march? I'm going and would like to meet up with any DG members for lunch or swapping plants or just touring the show and sale. Think about it!!! A great show!! NICE SALE TOO!!

Yes thats the one- the dates are in the middle of march--- around the 13-21st, I think, but I don't have the exact dates in front of me at this minute.I'd really like to meet fellow DGs.
I'm not sure which day {or days } I'd be going--- I'm open!!

I will be out of town for some of that time period and I work weekends so it might not be possible. Keep us posted on the days you might attend and I'll see how it goes!

ok everybody, the chicago flower and garden show is march 13-21 at navy pier. i don't know what day i'll be there but i would love to meet up with dg'ers there. the chicago botanical gardens has a very nice booth there every year. parking can be tough at navy pier as there are a limited number of spaces but there are parking lots within a few blocks of the pier. there is also a double decker shuttle bus from some of the parking lots to the pier.

I know Pace (our suburban bus line) usually runs a shuttle from Woodfield Mall to Navy Pier for the show on the weekend, parking at Woodfield is free, I believe the shuttle bus costs around $7.50 round trip. Parking downtown can get very expensive. I have been thinking of trying this, this year, I haven't been to the flower and garden show for maybe 20 or 25 years!

i've been to a few of theseshows and they get bigger and better each year. there are some bargains to be had especially on the last day.

I plan to go with my DD on Wednesday March 17 in the afternoon. DH works downtown, so he'll meet us there for dinner.
