The winter blahs are really setting in and we'd like to force some branches of cherry, forsythia and whatever else will work.
I've looked at various websites but would like some of your opinions on the best methods.
Also, can you do crabapples,flowering quince, redbuds and hawthorns?

Well, DH went out and cut branches of cherry, crabapple, redbud, quince and flowering almond and we followed the instructions here:

I'll post some photos in 3-4 weeks or so if we have luck :)
I just stick forsythia in water and it flowers and stays that way for weeks. I love that small splash of spring too!
