Have seen this on several garden shows and wonder if anyone here has done? Usually it's 2 leyland cypress or other pliable evergreen planted 7-8 feet apart and then brought together at the top with wire.
Thanks for any info :)
Anyone ever done an arch with evergreens?
I just came back from a hosta society meeting and Brooks Garcia, the speaker, had a wonderful slide of leylands growing as an arch. He says its very easy to do it.
A neighbor down the street and a friend on other side of town have laurels that are arches over entrance areas.
