How do I go about transplanting monkey grass from one yard to another this time of year in the Charlotte, NC area, and what precautions do I need to take?
Follow-up ?
Can the "dig-ups" be kept for a few days in a box or container before transplanting?
transplanting monkey grass
Your ground is nowhere near frozen, I'll bet. I've transplanted and given away tons of monkey grass. You don't need any precautions. I've had the kids dig up clumps of it and just put in on hard dirt. Not only did it live, but it rooted and they had to dig it up again a couple of weeks later. All that to say, you'll do fine! lol
