My main present has arrived!!!!!

it has come yipppeeee!!!! and it is a very big box that I can hardly pick up!

I am just about to open it, now who would like to know what it is??? LOL!!

Its a a luxurious, super comfy executive office chair with a high back and comfy armrests!! ;) as I spend much of my life these days (in winter anyway) at the computer this is heaven! :)

Oh lucky you!! Hey, that is helpful for gardening-you have to sit somewhere while you gawk at the pics on the computer, peruse online catalogues and talk to your pals! ;) You can not imagine how envious I am as I type this from a hard wood kitchen chair! LOL Happy Birthday again!

I have a rather expensive (when new, but I got it used several years ago) ergonomic chair. Really makes a difference!

Thanks guys! I was given a very cheap computer chair as part of my puter package a few years ago and it is useless. It is now so low and uncomfy that I feel like I am sitting on the floor and when I get up I feel so stiff... But no more!!

However - I do have a problem :O As you know I have a new camera with a new zoom and a new super macro lens on it. I have an awful lot of work I want to do on the allotments this year and yet there are so many birds, insects, butterflies, flowers out there just calling to me.....
Do you think I would be able to dig with a blindfold on or has anyone got any blinkers? LOL!!

Its funny. SImon sits in it and it swamps him. Simon is nearly 6 and he looks great sat there working on the computer with his legs swinging merrily :)

what a great gift!.. i know because i gave myself one for my craft room. well then i would be wheeling it out to the computer, across the house! so i bought myself and my dh one for out at the computer! of course i got a great deal on both of them. one was $120 online, with rebates and monies off, i paid $40 @ officemax.com. then the other was $100 chair and with monies off and a rebate we also paid only $40 for it! i was using a small wooden kitchen chair too. i know my touchi is much happier in this nice padded big chair! yours too? :-) debi z

Oh, a nice chair - what a great gift! We found a nice one on clearance at Office Depot a couple years ago and it's so adjustable and comfy.

Here's some blinkers for you Psilo. The racing ones are so much more fashionable than the leathers on a bridle, don't you think?

i understand that. i used to only go outside to "catch the rays" or if i was "doin something". now i have to force myself to come in from the garden. this will be my 5th season gardening. wow. times flies. i started gardening and dave's at the same time too. best thing i ever did for myself. there is soooooo much knowledge here and 4 years ago this site was much much smaller.

No, we just need to put on our wide eyed innocent look and she will never suspect. I'm sure we can convince her the store must've sent a defective chair. Maybe we can locate some bigger wheels for it that won't wear down so fast.

OK, so first we have to 'borrow' a grocery card and 'remove' the casters... those are made to take a beating. Sure, the chair will sit a little higher, but Psilo can swing her feet while she types... heck, we'll be doing her a favor!
