After last night's freeze, bet everything bit the dust. The first two frost scares only partially damaged the brugs and they were still blooming on their pitiful looking stalks (few leaves) and other stuff, but last night I think it really got colder. It'll be dreary looking totally now. I guess it's the cycle of life, but I hate to see it come every winter.
Bet everything's gone now
i know what you mean. my in ground brugs look so sad from the frost. it sure is hard to believe they will grow back to their full glory next yr. but they will.
Im surprised I still have Guara "whirrling butterflies" blooming. They are tiny now but just yesterday I saw 2 blooms open. Unbelievable.
Weird! The leaves on the brugs are all gone, but it didn't seem to freeze the trunks and branches. Usually the bark will slip off if you touch or rub it after a freeze and it isn't doing that, well, I only checked one, I'll try the others today.
