Thanks GW, same to you. :)

Here's this year's tree. Decorated with pictures of my grand children. Add at least one for each of the four each year.

GREAT idea, Doris!

I love that idea. Pretty tree

Cullman, AL(Zone 7a)

Thanks. The kids have all gone home and the "silence is deafening" and I'm ready to take the tree and all the other decorations down and put them away until another year! It was a very good day!

Beautiful, Doris......what a treasure trove you have!!

doris where did you get those picture frame ornaments that is a great idea for my MIL who doesn't see a need in putting up a tree any more

Cullman, AL(Zone 7a)

I've collected the little frames over the years. When I see something that I think will work I grab four or five of them. Wal Mart has had them at different times in the past. You usually find them on cards on the end caps during the Christmas season. I couldn't find them this year so I bought one of the little pewter finished "family trees" from the gift section and took the little frames off to use for my tree. I recently found a small "football frame" and a small "basketball frame". This was good because my eight year old grandson is a little sports nut and very good too!
The grand kids really enjoy picking out their own "ornaments" on the tree. I have to show them some of their pictures when they were younger. It is fun!

I'm late, but I just found this thread. :-)
Here is our tree.

Very pretty Melissa.

That's pretty! I like the gold bows and beads together.

Pittsburgh, PA(Zone 6a)

I know, I'm late. Been extremely busy. Our tree isn't anything special by any means. 75% of the decorations are handmade and some from paper.

It's beautiful! Definitely a gardener's tree. :)

That's pretty, Kelli. The lights on the tree have neat shapes. We still don't have our outside lights down...*blush*. They've not been lit since the beginning of January, but they're still up!

The lights maybe look like an unusual shape because I must have moved while the picture was being taken. They're just regular Christmas lights. There are people around here who still have lights up, too, and they don't even have the excuse of bad weather.
