berrygirl slow down, don't be so hard on your self. over the yrs i have lost several rr pkg's. hey thats life. but for this reason and so people, like you, will not bewat themselves up all my rr's now will have adding delivery comformation as part of playing. please do not hesitate to join my other rr's the 2nd herb one and the tree and shrub one. with delivery comformation you will not have to worry about this anymore. the 55 cents it cost is well worth peace of mind. again no hard feelings.

Mail gets lost, delivered to the wrong address, and it gets damaged. Of all the things that could happen to a robin, I think the least likely would be that someone kept it for themselves. If the envelope tore open and all those little seed packets got loose in a mail bag or a mail truck, I'm not so sure the PO would bag them back up to send on, or to return them to the sender.
I sent the seeds because I was positive you were NOT to blame and should not have to feel responsible for anyone missing out on any fun. I had fun trading with the gals at work, and I would feel blue if you did not join in on future robins. No reason for you to miss out on any fun, either! I'm hoping you can put this bad experience behind you, and realize that you have lots of friends here who don't want to see you unhappy.
This happened to me. I made a trade with someone who sent me a package Priority Mail. She got the package back weeks later after it had been sent to the dead mail. It did have live plants in it. We lived in the same state it should have been here in a day. These things happen.
Once again, you DEAR folks have made me cry with your warm thoughts and uplifting words. Some of you I've never talked with before and weren't even in the RR but you replied to my post just to uplift me!!!! Thank you all so very much for your warm friendship. I'm not quite ready to do another RR right now but I hope to do another one someday soon, after the shame of this wears off a bit. You guys are the best and I am sooo lucky and blessed to have found this great BB. May God bless you all and whatever you grow!!!!!

The robin that Zone3 sent me went out today. I had a Dr's appt yesterday and wasn't thinking about seeds at all (sorry)

i recd the rr#1 today from brugaddict,annabellgabby, with an unbelievable selection.. once i get time to go thru it i will post some for sase's. it will probably be tomorrow though.

Hi everyone....RR#2 isn't lost...LOL...nope it's sitting in a corner on my desk at work. I hope to get through it tomorrow and get it on it's way out sometime tomorrow afternoon or Saturday!

Not yet, but that could be a good thing as it has been raining pretty hard here lately and I haven't been able to come home at lunch and look at the mail (I hate to have the seeds sit out in the mail box in the rain). Hopefully, it comes tomorrow when my DH will be home. I'm in no real hurry, although the other people behind me might be.
:) Received seeds when I came home tonight (no rain). I have been through them and found some great choices. I took out and replaced six. I will mail out tomorrow.

Got RR #2 yesterday, and sent it off to Texas today. Unfortunately it got sent 1st class instead of priority. (Sorry DH took them to the PO) BUT he did get a confirmation # lol

Janet, I was just logging on to tell you that when I went to the PO today a friend of mine that works there told me she had found some seeds and asked me if I wanted them?
(All the ladies there call me the "Seed Lady")
But she said that in the bottom of one of their crates was 3 packs of seeds, none of which were in a envelope.
She brought out a package of:
Indian bean tree seeds
Purple cone flower seeds
Marigold seeds
She had no idea where they came from. After searching thru all the mail in that crate she said there wasn't any damaged envelopes or packages so she just laid them aside for me.
I told her about our round robin that had been lost and she said she would be on the lookout for it. Since these seeds were not in a envelope it is possible that the envelope has been damaged and is still possible that it could show up.
I gave her my number and told her to call me if she finds any more seeds or the round robin itself, and she said she would.
Keeping my fingers crossed here :)
