I received the seed package yesterday, 11-7, and mailed them to Loudigger in TX this morning. This has been alot of fun!

Oh Janet..that's the reason it did'nt arrive here. I'm not sure but it can take weeks before it'll arrive overhere ..Wish I had told you this before but from hundred trades I've got from USA 99 were send with priority. So I though you knew. I always send abroad like that. We cannot even get stamps to send abroad without prioritysticker.

rr#1 saya has offered to start another envelop if she does not get mine soon. i have decided to wait a l ittle longer before going ahead with this idea.
Sounds good either way! If Janet's turn up along the way later on, maybe they can catch up to wherevenr the robin is at that point? But, we can be patient a little while longer, not even time for winter-sowing yet!

Update on RR #2 My boss was supposed to mail it out but got forgetful. Because of the Veteran's Day holiday, it got put in the office, and I was horrified to see it in the out-going mail basket last night! I sent it out myself by priority mail today to help make up for the delay. So sorry about the mix-up and I won't be trusting anyone else to do the mailing for me again.
Great selection of seeds from jcf and kat7! I took two out and put two in, sigh, wish I'd had more to trade. The Lemon lily seed should grow true to form. It's from my son's patch and he doesn't have any other daylilys at his place.
At least not yet. LOL.

Lemon lily is a species and will come true from seed. It blooms so early that there is little danger of cross-pollination. It is one of the garden must-haves! Hemerocallis flava (lemon lily). JOhn
I love lemons with salt...not good for me but it's an addiction lol...

I'm sure they have. I wouldn't mind being there either. But, here I am in MI, just waiting for that package to arrive. This is my first RR...so I'm extra excited to get it. I'll let you know as soon as I do. :)

FINALLY !!! The envelope has arrived today (wednesday) and going out to John. I've mailed JCF last monday that I've already packed 44 seedpackages ready to send because JCF told me she wanted to wait until monday and nothing came that day. IT CAME TODAY! Took out a little seedpackage of Liatris. Most are veggies that I cannot do so much with. I've replaced the one with 10 packages though. The envelope is going out today. Maybe in Europe they like to do another RR..I'll try..because the packages are ready to send.

so glad #1 is finally on the move.sorry saya that you found nothing you wanted. my girls helped me put these together and i guess they did not sort the kinds of seeds as i told them to.
Ooooh JCF...I've picked out a beautifull purple liatris that I 'm verry happy with and sure would'nt like to miss.
Also would'nt like to miss ...the moment that the huge envelope dropps in my mailbox and all the excitement around...IT'S FUN. Being a part of this chain..this community... called RR ..well that's the best part of all.
I forgot to tell you all that I've started another RR for European members on the European forum. Woow..my first selfstarted one.

I received RR#3 on Friday the 21st and it went out today, Monday the 24th to Iowa. I hope it isn't as cold and windy there as it is here. It was in the 20's all day. BRRRRR
Thank heavens my DH didn't mind going out in the cold to mail it. Love that man!
You will all be thrilled to know that the #1 Round Robin has landed here in NJ! A nice selection of vegetables from jcf, and saya has added some wonderful flower selections. I have found a few interesting items for next year's garden, and will replace them with some unusual items! Thanks Janet for organising this! John

I wish I knew. On the 14th, I mailed out an SASE to Kelli, one to agapanthus, bought Christmas stamps, sent MItjo's seeds global priority, a check to "eyes" for caladiums proirity, and told the guy to send the RR priority, too. Everything else arrived.
He didn't give me any separate receipts, all I got was one calculator type, for $20.10. He charged $ 3.65 to send the RR package. I had to put Mitjo's in a cardboard mailer and re-address it. He put the envelope for eyes in one with a window so the address would show, and said he would put a priority sticker on the RR envelope. But, I didn't see what he did with it.
How could they lose a package? I made sure that the address label was stuck down well, but even if it came off, jfc had her own address written right on the envelope. Don't know if there's any way to track the thing, since I didn't request a delivery confirmation or get it insured.
I sure don't want to be holding everything up. Should we assume the idiots just lost it? I could get together seeds that I've ordered and start another envelope. I've been on needles and pins, waiting for it to arrive, but didn't want to offend anyone by posting to ask if they'd gotten it yet.
Let me know what y'all want to do, I don't have a lot of experience mailling packages, but it seems like it should have turned up someplace by now.
don't panic yet. i have had rr's get late by as much as 2 months and then show up and move on. lets wait a little longer.
