Annual ideas for mix with Ft. Grass/Sage?

Hi everyone,
I am looking for some ideas for annuals to plant now for
an area we have just planted with grasses, sage and lavender. It could use a "color spot", which I have saved for this purpose. Any ideas?

This time of year about the only annuals I can find in this area are pansies, Johnny jump and marigolds.
