Thanks for the tip! Almost went for 2 sweet autumn Clematis, but they have it listed as zone 9? I want to be sure I have the right plant. Hibiscus 'Kopper King' looked good, but some recent comments give it a so so rating. Is sweet autumn Clematis hard to grow from cuttings?
I checked the site and got confused, the zone for the plant is above the description.( I am eyeballing the buddleia-like I have so much extra room-Not.) I am in zone 4/5 and my Sweet autumn clematis is 6x6 foot and just starting to bloom. Just checked again, forgot how pricey they are-will check my local nurseries for the buddleia. You might be able to find a better deal, if you have some near-by-selling out for the season.

The zones are not placed too well. Oh well, I can wait 'til next year.
My neighbor has it and it sends up shoots everywhere. She has given me some rooted vines twice, but I keep killing it for some weird reason. I guess the roots need shade and the top needs sun. The other neighbor received some from the neighbor one year ago and it is 4x2 feet now. Try and get some rooted ones if you can.

Concur with the sweet autumn clematis, I planted a start just about this time last year, it was about 4" high. It is now over 8 feet long and about 1/2 of a foot wide. I don't think I'll see blooms until next year though.
edited to say: nice sale at Wayside! I ordered the Geranium Rozanne, and phlox Franz Schubert!

When I try to go past page one I get a Wayside page with the message "Your search has expired. Try again." Does anyone know why I am getting that? Thanks.
