i have a friend who wants to send me some seeds from austrailia. i have never traded outside the usa. i know the seeds she wants to send me. morning glories are allowed here as we all grow them in the usa. so how do we go about this? thanks Imzadi

Many of us have sent/received seeds internationally. As long as you are not prohibited from importing them (a few plants are banned by USDA or by state law), there is no problem with customs.
Have her put them in a padded envelope, make sure they are correctly ID'd on each packet, and then that's it.
It is, however, illegal now to import seeds into the USA without expensive documentation. Australia is very particular about what seeds are allowed into its country as well.
