But have no fear it will do a brug good. And from the looks of it if we wont chop them off root will do it for us with his handy dandy infamous tool of propagation....

Glad you liked the Seedbar - actually, it was just laziness, and no time to bag them!! Some seeds weren't even cleaned (I'm hanging my head, but grinning cuz you're so sweet to say it was a good idea!). Thank you thank you thank you to everyone, - Tracy, you could not have done better, it was just absolutely terrific! I certainly learned alot, too!!!

Eh-Hem. Did anyone hear the dreaded word FROST for Thursday? Boo Hoo. BUT...we have thoughts of Spring, a KC Roundup and all these great new friends to keep us going thru the winter! :)

Hughesville, MO(Zone 5a)

What a get together. I've been wanting to meet Root for a long time so that was really great. Tracy has a fabulous home and is a wonderful hostess. Thanks so much for the bags of goodies. I even got a mystery plant Kris and I had gotten seeds of on the Katy Trail yesterday identified.

I got home about 9 tonight. Had lots to do with Kris and the kids first. Then I spent about 45 minutes bringing in pots of plants that might not like the 39 or so degrees tonight. Had to bring in those starts and the EE Root brought for me. Not taking chances on losing those.

Tracy is even talking about coming to PG as a volunteer the same day my hubby and I go. That would be so great.

GOD bless and keep all of you. See you at the next get together.

Fayette, MO(Zone 6a)

Loved the pictures of everyone and I will certainly mark my calendar for Spring!
I woulda held on tight to that brug too!
I didn't get all my plants in last night so will scramble today to get everything in!

OC, CA & Twin Lakes , IA(Zone 4b)

Tracy, the round-up was WONDERFUL! Thanks to everyone who made it such a fun success. Root's wife and daughter came with him, and they are really sweet ladies - I could have talked to everyone for hours. Thanks again, Tracy, for a memorable time. Hugs, Jo

Mary E and Brenda you have mail!

Baker City, OR(Zone 5b)

How do we have 2 MaryE people in this garden? I was reading this thread and was surprised to see my name here. Will the other Mary E please respond?

OC, CA & Twin Lakes , IA(Zone 4b)

MaryE,
Root threw me a curve also. Her DG name is MaryElizabeth and Root shortened it to MaryE.

. . . mystery solved

lagrange, GA(Zone 7a)

Great to meet all of you. Did anyone give the names to the group shot. Now I know where root man is but the ladies ?????
I saved the group shot and saved it in a folder with our roundup in Ky.

I almost made it to Kansas City a while back. My grandson, 12, plays on a traveling baseball team and they won a tournament that qualified them for a national tournament there. They voted on several places that they qualified for, they being the parents, and they decided it would be to much of a trip. I told them we could stay at Root's but they voted other wise.

Lenexa, KS(Zone 6a)

Hi Jim.....let me see if I can try. I think you're referring to the group pic below. From left to right:

xvMercy (aka Tracy our hostess), Tracy's Gram, Langbr, Tracy's relative (I apologize I can't remember her name..Root? Tracy?), then we have KriswithaK, KayJones, MaryElizabeth, TamTam, and of course Rootdoctor.

HeatherV and Leaflady arrived shortly after the photo was taken and are seen in other pics I posted above.

Jim it would have been great to meet you, hope to some day, maybe I will come south,My mother winters with her sister near Brunswick.

lagrange, GA(Zone 7a)

Load up those ears and come on south root. Thanks Brenda, that was the photo I was referring to. I kept reading and rereading and I said shucks it just ani't no listing of all those pretty women. I can tell my the expressions on the faces of everyone that ya'll was having so much fun. The roundup's are sure a lot of fun. I'll be going to my third one this year next week end. Went to one in Fl. earlier and then Ky. Now if I can find time to plant all the things I brought back.

Dayton, OH(Zone 5a)

What a great picture of y'all!

Lee's Summit, MO(Zone 6a)

OK, time for ANOTHER KC Roundup! I think Root should host THIS ONE!

Lenexa, KS(Zone 6a)

I vote for Root's place too! (much closer to me...heeheehee).

Seriously I'm pretty busy the next couple of weekends, so if you are planning a get together then let me know so I can see if I can juggle it.
