I have been an organic market grower for awhile now. I can answer question about how to get certified and I would love to talk to other organic growers especially thyose who have gone through or are gowing through certifacation. Also how USDA regs will effect us all.
Organic
Hi Ohio! I try to stay as much as organic as possible. I only spray when my garden is in trouble. You see, I live in the deep south. Heat and humity play an inviting role on fungus and pests. It is really bad. I hand pluck my bugs off my veggies, which can be very time consuming, I have a pretty big garden. I hate to spray because I have so many frogs and lizards that I don't want to harm. (My cats don't share that vision :-)to them, it is lunch) Anyway, any suggestions? Thanks, Lisa
