I have a love hate relationship with my orange spider lilies (lycoris - also know as hurricane lilies). When they pop up, I know summer really is over.
Well, they are popping up. =( Not bloomed yet, but soon.
Anyway, there seem to be a lot less of them this year, I presume because of the nasty weather we've had all summer. Does anyone know if it's 'safe' to dig them once they bloom and die back, or should I wait until spring? I want to move some to my new garden, but I'm afraid to lose them.
Any advice?
