My back yard seems to be completely under control of thousands of flies and I have no idea how to get rid of them. There are all different kinds of them and I have already tried spray and sticky paper. But they just seem to laugh about that. Does anybody have any idea???
Oh, I also have 2 dogs and I know that the flies are attracted by their feces even though I clean up every day...but there has to be something that can be done! Help!!!
FLY ATTACK!!!
It's all the rain this year. They are everywhere. I just put on as much DEET as possible to keep them from flying up my nose and in my ears.
Go to a local farm supply store and ask for "fly bait". You must put it in an area out of the reach of children and pets because it's poisonous. I used a soda bottle with holes cut in the sides so the flies could enter but the bait would stay dry. I hung it up high. I used this when I raised rabbits. The bait stinks, so hang it where you don't have to smell it.
