Yes, lots of us attend, but do any DG'ers compete in fairs? I would love to hear about your experiences!

I have competed at our State Fair in the past, but nothing to do with gardening. My other passion is horses, and I breed, sell, and show American Saddlebred horses. I have competed at Illinois State Fair's Society Horse Show. Currently, I have a showhorse that doesn't have a "division" at that show, so have not gone for the past couple of years.

Oh, Lisa! What a beautiful animal! I too used to ride English. I had to give it up when I became disabled. Ashamed to admit my highest prize was 2nd Place *ducking in embarrassment

Congratulations on your accomplishments! Do you drive? We saw the wagons with teams of 4 and 6. I always wanted to learn to drive a 4 in hand, never had the opportunity.
