PS....yes your right....
Dea - you're gonna make me cry.... this is the first time in two months that I have really been homesick... Was talking to Doug, my better natured half, and he was so excited about these red, white and blue MG's that he planted - that I didn't have the heart to ask...but, what about the Japanese ones.....wahhhhhhhhhhhhh.
Actually, I am going to be gone for three years - amazing, huh? But, on the bright side, if there is anything you want in Ireland, Hungary, Poland, Czech Republic, UK, Poland, Italy or France... you need only ask...
And of course, I spent about a half hour pulling out bindweed from the rosemary in my mini rental yard - telling myself, but the Japanese Ip. are different, they're speshulllllllllllll... ;-) When I mentioned them to my leasing agent as she "sniffed" at the bindweed, she wasn't impressed. We know different...
Your attitude and inspiration to collect and distribute seeds to like-minded folks struck me from the very first note you ever sent...
I am happy to see you post Sandra, how's it going, are you settled in now?, and Dee you are a sneak putting pictures on here tee hee!!
Beautiful Jap. MG's....I'd love to get in on a co-op??
Thx, Carol
Yes, Dee I do have some planted for this year of the last ones that I got. So far I don`t have any blooms. I got a late start with them. I will post them as they start to bloom. Out of all of the ones I had last year I never entered any of them in the photo contest. Really should have because they were really beautiful. I am very pleased with all of the colors that I received in the co-op.
Oh dog gone it I forgot to go and post on my thread.....see what reminising will get you.....LOL...to many glasses of vine and forgetting what your suppose to be doing....LOL
Bee you better get them entered this year, I will welcome all the computition from all of you. Can yall just imagin how many beautiful MG's we will have this year.... It is going to be the best.....
Dee

Laurrie - I'll mail you soon and update you. It's been an absolute adventure - never more than a few days in one spot.
dixiechick/Carol - we have had three co-ops, all of them were Fall/Winter when the seeds are traditionally sold. I was able to secure one batch in Japan then collaborated with a wonderful DG friend to have more shipped over the next two winters. I just moved to Ireland and won't be able to do it again for a few years. However... there are a few inklings of ideas in the works... and I hope to find some other interesting things here. But, I do encourage you to start trading with folks, building more friendships and by next Fall - you might be in a good position to get some seeds. One thing to be aware of - these plants can be finicky and not set very many seeds.
sbarr, Thx for the heads up on when to loo for he co-op and the info..I'm still a rookie here but, mking wonderful new friends and enjoying every moment of it..
Thx Carol
