Hi,
My husband, daughter and I were sitting under a tree, and this little guy fell out. I have never seen anything like it. Looks like it should come out of the movie Shrek.
Thanks so much,
Candy
Anyone know what this is???
Looks similiar, in my books, to the caterpillar of one of the swallowtail butterflies-Zebra,,tiger or spicebush. They all have special spots, so maybe you could check on the web after a close look. Good luck.
You might try posting this in the Butterflies and Hummingbirds forum...people there really know their caterpillars,
Thank you so much for your reply's. I tried to get a decent picture of him/her, but that was the best of the bunch. I need a zoom for my digital camera. I will look it up on the web now that I have some place to start. Again, thank you.
Candy, the Butterflies and Hummers forum is on DG. I think they will be able to help you out there.
Good luck from another Candy!
Hi Candy and everyone else,
I got it posted, and we will see. Like I said, I have never seen anything like it, we were surprised. Watched it put up his antenna's,(I know there is a plural for it, but did not know the correct spelling!) also, it looked like it had a great big smile on its face. Really a cute little guy.
Again, thanks!
Candy
