These are tablets with a very bitter compound.
You put them in at the plant roots and it is systemic so it gets into the plants. I've read that it protects the plant for 2 years in addition to fertilizing them.
Supposedly effective for gophers, moles and voles as they avoid the bitter taste.
These 'Repellex' tablets are quite expensive, but if they do the job for two years, then I would be interested if anyone has used them successfully.
I do have these critters all over, along w/deer munching any and everything in my garden.
I have tried blood meal, egg mixture, all sorts of concoctions, but w/a rain, must re-apply.
I love wildlife, and don't want harm done, but I don't want harm done to my lawn and garden, either!
