Violets in OH

I heard of a very unusual festival, the Violet Festival. It is going to be Wednesday July 23 through Saturday, July 26 in Pickerington, Ohio.

Violets in July???? Gotta go see 'em!

I will try to e-mail the Ohio gang, see if anyone wants to make a party of it! With all the new OH DG'ers, that might take some doing!

Kathleen, Baa, Violabird, my violet-loving friends, I will be thinking of you all! If I can get seeds (some plants will be for sale, not sure about seeds), I will grab as many kinds as I can :)

Sounds like fun! I'll be waiting to hear about it.

Melissa's KY violets bloom in spring and then late summer again, perhaps that happens in some places in OH, too.

All of my little violas are doing well - they like living in a temperate rain forest (yep, it's still raining).
