These crash scissors are the best garden clippers I've ever come accross. I found them at a dollar store and had used them in the garden for a couple of years before I lost them. I missed them so much I went on a web search to find another pair. I ordered 3 pair from Lee Valley this spring. Hubby recently found my old pair behind my border, under a thorny multiflora rose bush. They still work like the day I bought them!
Crash Scissors - Clippers
I have seen those, but thought they looked funny and didn't get them. Good to know they work!
Lee Valley tools is a great company. I have small hands and have real difficulty finding garden gloves I like. They showed up at a exhibit booth in the last SF Garden Show and I ordered 3 pairs of the ones that are leather fingers and palm, tough knit fabric backs. The first pair has been really good so far this year, very comfortable and well made -- no popping seams like the cheapos do.
LOL! I recently 'liberated' a pair of those from my Dad's toolbox ... didn't know what they were called. He only paid 99 cents for them. I love 'em.
