tiny red dots
Debi - - I'd bet they are red spider mites.
If it's mites, they bother a lot of different plants and are difficult to control. Check under plant leaves for mites if you notice small spots on your leaves. I gave up on serious pesticides for controlling mites as the pesticides kill all the good bugs. I do use insecticidal soap with good results, and I hose down plants (be sure and soak under the leaves)daily when I have mite problems. Nat
There are also tiny red spider-like mites that actually prey on the kind of spider mites that destroy plants, so you might have a natural control going.
If they are red spider mites, I doubt you could see them without a magnifying lens. Could be a red velvet mite. They are predators.
