Erected one of those cheap wire fences around this bed this year to keep out my two rambunctious terriers. Last year they dug up almost every bulb in this bed so I decided to go with perennials. The terriers have been successfully restrained, but something else is getting my garden!

Dale-they're rat terriers. Just over 2 yrs old. Here they are right after joining our clan in April 2001. They're bigger now of course, but can't beat this photo!
