Yesterday I found a beautiful Abutilon 'roseum' at the nursery. I had to have it, and now am wondering what to put it in. I will need to bring it inside for the winter, so I would rather leave it potted. It is almost 4' tall, and very full. The pot it came in is about 10-12" across and a little over 12" deep. Is this OK for now, or does it need bigger. I don't want to upset it by moving it if that's not necessary, but I don't want it to be root bound either. Any ideas??

How to Determine Pot Size??
I think the bigger the pot... the bigger it will get. I grew a few in containers last year and they did real well. They're easier to take care of in a bigger pot, or in the ground... less watering. If you like it in the one it's in then leave it. It will be fine as long as you keep it watered and fertilize once in a while.
