I know this plant can be invasive, but I need invasive on a problem area. I grew it in another location and did not have problems. Does anyone know where I can find plants, seeds or cuttings?
Gooseneck loosestrife
Vickie, try the trading forum. People that grow it usually have a lot of it. I'm sure someone might be willing share.
Vickie, if you want any, just holler! I have been busy ripping it out of my problem sites!
Thanks for tips on loosestrife. And thanks to Vic who lives near me. He has some to share!
I was laughing when I saw your name and where you live. I know Vic and she is great!! I'm wondering if that is my loosestrife too. LOL Ask Vic. :)
Yes, it is your loosestrife Michele, I told her that too! LOL....Hey, it's getting ready to bloom too! Along with the fifty thousand other plants you have given me.
ROTF!! I saw her location and thought you had swapped names on me! What are the chances??? LOL I do remember giving you some of those at the RU and thought they may be my offspring. giggle
Okay, Badseed and Vic, what's RU? Someplace I should dine or someplace I should go?
Definitely someplace you should GO!!!!!!!!! The one Badseed and I are talking about was in TN last June. We are attending another in western KY in September. They are all over - NE, SE, SW, MW, everywhere! Pick one and go. They are a BLAST!
But what ARE they? Are they plant gatherings? I can't figure out what R and U stand for (but I have been creative in trying to). I do remember Vic telling me about something in TN last year. Vic, if you are reading this, will be you home Sunday afternoon (June 8)?
RU stands for Round Up. That is what the gatherings are called. :) There is good food, great people, plant trading and all sorts of other things depending on where you go. It is awesome to actually meet all the people you talk to on here, live and in the flesh!!
dang typo
