These galls appear on my azaleas every year. They do't seem to harm the plant, but they sure are ugly. Anybody know what critter causes them and a cure?

I had the same problem on one of my azaleas this year. I had no idea what it was. Thanks so much for the hyperlink. I suspected some type of fungus, but wasn't sure. Nice to have a confirmation and solution.
