I sure wish I could post the flyer cuz it's awesome! This weekend is the biggest, most famous flower show in Cincinnati, close in ranking with the one at Ault Park. Anyone think they would be interested in coming?? I can't host a big shindig because I have to work that night, but I would be more than happy to give up my home for a potluck or something. My hubby is working there all day Sunday and I am going to go and take the kids. I'll be too bushed Saturday from working all night to even think about it. Let me know. Here is a posting from Provident Bank.

Hmmmm, "A tranquil garden for women, sponsored by Tampax Pearl,..." sounds hard to miss! I was thinking of going to DeMonyes as this is their last weekend sale and I didn't ever get there on my first trip. I got to Lupine's place, though :)
What is the show like? Do they sell anything or is it all show? If you see something you like, do they have it identified so you can find it somewhere? I've never been to this, but I hear it is really good. Which day are you going?
Is this the same one we where planning on last year and didn't get to do it? It looks great and like fun. Let me check somethings out and I will let ya know if I can make it.
I have to go on SUnday. Saturday is the only day I can get some real hours in at work. I usually get to work about 3am and work until 1pm or later. You know I have two ways of looking at things-third shift is gone and they are letting me work shorter hours. I am losing money but have a job while I want it. I could be jobless and without a plant budget! LOL It looks like Mystic will come to my house in the morning and we will spend the day there. Anyone else want to go??
Seed, do you get a discount there and do they sell plants? That would factor into my decision about staying or quitting!
What time are you & Peggy going to get to the show? I'm getting over flu/cold & family has it now. This whole weekend is up in the air. But, if they are better, I'm hoping for deMonye's & maybe this, too! I just got a mailer about it that I want to go through... Is it closer to go to your place then Coney Isle or vice versa? I am concerned about two days in a row... Still thinking through everything and waiting to see how family feels!
That looks like a fun time - wish we could make it. Here's another link about it: http://www.cincyflowershow.com/
Morph I think we are planning on going around 12:00. Yes they sell plants a lady I work with went with a bus full of people Weds and said it was great. They had vendors there for everything. From plant hooks to trees and plants. All she kept talking about was how they used tree stumps to do something with.lol I hope you can make it. GW I wish ya could come. If I don't see ya before then I will see ya at the Ky RU.
You are so Bad!!!!!!! How am I supposed to find the energy to come down to see this show the day after deMonye's and the gang tomorrow!!!!!
Maybe if I can tempt Windsurffer into coming with me to help me through the drive, I could so easily be tempted...
Thanks, Mystic, for telling me about it! I don't know, I will have to really think about it, decide just how tired I am and what else is happening here.
Gardenwife, you going?
Well it is definite that Peggy and I are going. It is maybe a mile from my house. I have not been in a couple of years. I did go when it was still at Ault Park a few years ago. It was really awesome! They had tons of plants for sale as well as clothing and any garden related item you could think of-pots, gloves, rubber shoes, etc. I did pick up a neat willow, the name escapes me-S. udensis I think, the flat twisty branched one and several colors of caladium. I didn't get home from work until around two this afternoon and have to work again Sunday night. My house is a wreck and I am beat. Probably going back to bed in a few. Anybody that wants to come, is more than welcome. Just look for two women and five little girls! LOL
Waahhhh!!! I found out about this too late :`( So sad.
I used up almost all my energy yesterday, spent this morning very slowly digging/dividing/packing up yet more plants to send tomorrow.
You are so Bad! And after hearing more tales about you yesterday from Flowox I really really really wanted to meet you! And you, too, Mystic!!!!!
I hope you are having a wonderful time. And that you won't get over-tired working/playing this weekend :) Let us know how it was?
