Angie, no, I haven't gotten lab lab seeds. I did grow it once a few years ago, but not since then. (Why, should I be on the look out????)
Zany, I was finally able to find some really great seed-packet envelopes! The glassine envelopes that stamp-collectors use! Outstanding! But thanks for the thought :)
I know that I should have had y'all look at my seed Tradelist and I could have done that too, but it would have added at least another day of delay in getting things sent out. Anyway, my seedlists are current (almost!) if anyone wants anything, yell. My plant tradelist is hopelessly outdated, but I don't have the time or energy to fix it now. Maybe in a couple weeks when it has rained so much that I haven't gotten to garden for a while! LOL
OK, packages are sent to: Debby, Momcat, babsadventure, Naturepatch, Roshana, Ohiobreezy, Woodspirit, Notmartha, Gingerlily and Viola. I also e-mailed everyone the amount of postage.
Someone got a package of daffodil bulbs that didn't ask for them. They belong to Naturepatch. I hope she forgives me and will be able to wait a few more weeks when I will have a few hundred more. Whoever got them, enjoy! If that is the only thing that got messed up, I will rejoice! LOL
Lupi, I am so pleased and proud of you for getting all these packages done even with all the pushing and shoving that has been going on around you. Good Grief, at one point I thought I was going to have to call 911 for help for you! Crowd control is NOT my favorite thing so next time you decide to divide your plants you should just mail all of them to me! That would take care of the problem.
ecobioangie, our Whitney (3 pound poodle) even hears the peel of the banana start to do its snap-like sound and she is after the person who made that sound! Like a shot out of a gun she goes. She will eat any banana that you give her even the bitter strings from inside the peel. And if you have an orange, you better be prepared to share it with her. About the only thing she doesn't like to eat is lettuce but she will eat that if it has another flavor on it. However give her a bone and she won't touch it besides licking it. I have no clue why.
My two dogs are vegetable lovers, they will drool over asparagus or broccoli, and ignore a nice rare steak. They even eat carrots! Neither will touch bananas, but the German Shepherd just loves apples.
Not to worry! I will be patiently waiting for my daffys. I just hope whoever gets them appreciates the splash of sunshine they give to the cold spring! :)
My Jack Russel eats carrots too. And anything else he can con us out of. (That's why he's on a diet.) Except Warheads. He definitely does not like Warheads. :) (The things kids try to get pets to eat!)

Ha! Yes Windyone, I know you are nearby and get to pick and choose at your leisure from Lupines bounty. But I didn't want to see you get trampled by this rowdy crowd when they realize you got there first and didn't have to stand in line at all! Thank goodness Lupi saves some for the rest of us!
As for the sun, I have sun in about half this wee little garden but that half is filling up fast! I think I am goilg to wait til I get the box from Lupine planted and the ones I have here to see what room is left and what I need.
And it is still raining....through Tuesday of next week is the forcast now :~{
It's not raning here yet just clody but it is suppose to be tomorrow :{ I hope it holds off until we all get over Lupys and have all the fun we can. Shoot let it rain Sunday, beside I am praying that my poor garden won't flood this year.

Y'all should know what that Windy one did to me last year! Sneaked over and planted one of her cockscomb right in the middle of my veggie garden path! I know it was her! Don't deny it! LOL It was a pale shadow of her glorious ones! If she ever offers, don't refuse. Flowers the size of basketballs and glowing red. Simply mah-vellous.
This is the only carrot that my Lisi cat will have anything to do with. Note the condition of the poor thing.

I spent yesterday giving away yet more plants :) This time to Gardenwife and Lotusblossom and Flowox and Windsurffer. Yep, the Windd blew in and blew out with a lot of treasures, including a rooted double Rose of Sharon she adored last summer. But when the Windd blew away, she left me some new treasures in her wake.
Gonna have a bunch of bulbs in a few weeks, including a lot of the "minor" bulbs, like snow iris, glory of the snow, the infamous ones that keep getting their name changed, common name is Sicilian Honeyflower, who knows what the Latin name is this year? Not sure how many extra daffs I will have, already have a bunch promised to a lot of people, but if you are interested in spring-blooming bulbs, check on that forum in mid-May :) Or sooner if some of you want to get a headstart on your partying ;D

I sit in the rain waiting for my precious box to arrive only to discover that my dear friends have whisked it away and left me here shivering in the cold without a single one of Lupines treasures to brighten my pitiful existence. And while they are busy divying up my loot they are up front in the line at the new party to boot!
Woe is me. Pitiful thing that I am...At least I know Lupine is a good and generous soul and will treat me right! So you two wicked , WICKED I say, "friends" Just remember one thing....The Zany in Zanymuse actually means CRAZY! And a Crazy lady can always figure out a way for REVENGE!
