The sow bug/pill bug season is starting up here in TX. The best way I have found to reduce them is to cut a grapefruit in half--cut out the inside(for you to eat later)-- Then place the halves on top of your garden soil and wait until the next day. When you turn over the grapefruit it's really scary how many bugs there are. The best part is that I use an old vac with a bag to suck the bugs up. And use the fruit halves for a few more days. I use the vac for daddy long legs too.
My sow bug attack plan
Have you seen a large reduction in the population from this method? Or are they like the pink bunny and just keep coming and coming?
