Wow...That bird of paradise is so pretty. And what a huge...Ummmm...brug? ;)

Yeah, that is a brug, and not the biggest one: the biggest one was almost done blooming. This smaller (smaller!) one was still mostly in full bloom :)

If you can make it to the nursery on Friday with your mom, have her show you! Incredible! Alas, little fragrance during the daytime hours.

I know the other brug lovers here in DG would have just fallen over to have seen the big one in full bloom!!!

Flo, next weekend deMonye's is having their geranium sale. They have about 10 different colors, and they are 3/$1. Come on out! I will be going, I would love to finally meet you in person (I never found you at Dawes that day :( Maybe get the gang together again?

We can go on Friday or Saturday or Sunday. No huge crowds usually, lots of plants!

Morph! btailoring! Badseed! Wanna come to Columbus on Saturday????? Maybe bring Mystic???? Puh-leeze??? We can then hit another fantastic nursery (Dill's Greenhouse)!!!! No huge sale, but they have incredible annuals! And that is where I have found some of my truly amazing perennials. Or maybe go to Seely's where they have several hundred hosta varieties??? Spring has sprung, I do believe :)

Why didn't I know you when I lived in OH Kathy....I'd be there in a heartbeat. Actually, I plan to be in OH next weekend but you couldn't even begin to drag me away from my grandchildren. Hmmm....Flowers? Grandchildren? Not even close! You all have fun!

lupine, to be honest (and I told GW this) I've been too imbarrassed to talk to you because I forgot all about that day until a couple days later. I had so much going on and I felt so bad that I could have just crawled in a hole and I thought you would be upset with me. I have no clue where this place is in Columbus but if you would give me some directions I would be there for sure. I don't think anything is going on next Saturday and I'll put a darn post it on my back door just to remind me every day......LOL
All these meds I take are supposed to help my memory but they haven't done a thing for that. LMK I would love to make a day of it

Actually, I'll only be in OH for about 36 hours total and only going as far north as Lebanon, just north of Cincinnati. If I was going to be there longer, I would come on up in a heartbeat. Saturday is dd's baby shower. I will be with you in spirit :-)

Lupy I wish I could make it.Thanks for the invite I would love to see everybody and meet you and others I haven't meet. I am sure something will work out later in the summer.

We have a monthly fellowship at church Saturday morning; I just remembered it when I was handed a flyer this morning at service. I promised last month I would drive an elderly friend of mine there, so I can't leave for Columbus until 11:30am. I might need to just meet you all at Lupy's, because you'll want to get to deMonye's earlier than that, I'd imagine (especially considering it's the second day of the sale).
