http://www.dogwoodarts.com/calendar.html is the link to the info page. We drove on several dogwood trails and toured several scrumptious backyard gardens last year. Awfully nice. If you're close to Knoxville, think about exploring this during April. You won't be disappointed.
Visit Knoxville, TN this month to see pretty gardens.
Yes, I am in Knoxville also. This is one of the best springs that I can remember for the flowering trees. I am sure that it is a result of all the rain that we have had the last several months.
The Loudon Lake Dogwood trail is my favorite. It winds around through older neighborhoods (which usually have the best flowers!) and every now and then, you get a peak of the lake.
Dang,I just went thru Knoxville this morning......
nathalyn, take pictures for those of us who can't make it to TN!
And crestedchik, turn the truck around and go back, it sounds too pretty to miss if you have the chance!
Zanymuse, will do - - it's SUPPPOSED to be sunny this weekend. And hopefully, I'll have time to get out and take a few pictures.
The flowering trees are the prettiest that I have seen in the 22 years that I have lived in Knoxville.
What a lovely display for a front garden. They sure offer a lot of brightness to cheer you up on a rainy day!
