Look what I found at the Dollar General store today aren't they cute? They are made of polyresin and are pretty heavy so I think they will hold up well. They had 6 different designs and of course I had to get one of each. I thought they would look cute stuck here and there in my flower beds. Oh the best part there are $1.00 each. They had all kinds of statues, stepping stones etc. I did pick up a turtle and a frog to go back in my water garden sense the dog chewed up my others.
Dollar store find
Oh Peggy those are beautiful. I'm going to have to check out my dollar store and see if they have any...GREAT FIND!
Lucky you!! Think SPRING!!!
"eyes"
Mystic, nice dog, God bless "em but dogs and gardens aren't always really compatible.I get kind of tired of them, we have a dog who I am forever chasing out of the flower beds.
Hi Peg!!!
Oooh, gotta tell Lotusblossom - she LIVES at the Dollar Stores! =D
I'll bet you could even write the names of plants on the back with a grease pencil......
Vic I hope you can find some.Eyes believe me I am thinking spring hope it makes it get here sooner. lol Lenjo I know what ya been about dogs I am not sure how we will do this summer with this dog is sure recking havoc with my garden, but then he looks at me with those big sad eyes and I forgive him, but same spring I might not be as forgiving.I have got Repel away I am going to start putting out when we have a dry spell. It worked with all the other dogs so hoping it will work with him too. Hi There Kell just never know where I will find you. :)Gw all Lotusblossom needs is an excuse huh? lol I bet she will be there ASAP.Woodsprite good idea I went and looked at them and the backs are smooth and would be easy to write on thanks for the suggestion.
Glad they work for that. I went to Dollar General Saturday and looked for them. I found lots of garden supplies but not these little sticky thingys. However, the aisles were full. Dollar General is adding a lot more name brand items but keeping the low prices. I see good things out of them. Oh, by the way, grease pencils are also called China Markers. They're the fat pencils with the little string to pull to expose more of the center. I'm not sure what the material inside is but it appears to be part waxen and doesn't fade in the sun.

Those china markers are great for the garden- way better than "magic markers" I grab them up whenever I find them. MW
