New flower sport on Lavender

I had a grin today when I saw this Crocus pretending it was part of the Woolly Lavender.

LOl - you had me going for sec!

*G* it had me going when I fist glaced down at the plant ... ooo I thought; I've got the largest flowered lavender in the world.

I thought we'd dug out all the crocus when we rejigged the bed last year, a whole bundle of Crocus have broken through folded old bed sheets we used as a liner for the grit.

hmm, reminds me of my morning chrysantheglory.

LOL Baa, you could even market it as being a "very early-blooming" lavender! Would pass muster here!
