Pruning Primer

I need a basic pruning guide...not a treatise that goes into a gazillion plants specifically...just a general rule of thumb pruning/trimming (what IS the difference??) guide. Anyone find anything on the web?

I like Pruning Made Easy by Lewis Hill. ISBN 1-58017-007-2
It contains alot of information in a very easy to read format.
