I got my FAVORITE catalogue (Plant Delights -- Tony Avent owner) today, and I already have spent $4,000 and that is only up the the "C"'s
*note: I am only kidding about loaning me money, but I really really really want a few of these, only $100 for a titan arum! Of course we are supposed to plant in odd-numbered groups, so I "ordered" 5. They said only serious nuts should order. I know I am a nut, but am I serious enough?
Can anyone loan me some money *grin*
Haha Kathy, you sound like me with my dream of an Ae Ae banana $100-$200 a pup and they're hard to grow. I want one SOOOO bad. I am going to order about $150.00 worth of seeds from Parks here within the next couple of weeks for my mom and I's new business. Also going to the liner farm woohoo!!!
Katrina
Oh Kathy, how much do you actually need? I can send you about a $1,000...will they help??
BTW, could you please order a couple of those Arums for me too, and of course I need the odd amount also. (5) will do.
Thanks, and if you run out, there is more in my files. giggle..giggle.
Donna
Katrina, I'm sorry, I almost forgot about you too. Here's $200 for your banana pup.
WOOOHOOO I can just picture it growing in my greenhouse now TKS SO MUCH :)
Katrina
I got my Plants Delight catalog today, too. The pages are stuck together with my drool - guess I'll have to let it dry before I thumb through it again :)
Sheesh! I thought you wanted seeds from Lunaria, the Money Plant :~) If you want some SEEDS from this plant, let me know!!!
I did not get the catalog yet, got it first time last year, but was getting rid of plants, so did not order- We have a large Arum at the UW that bloomed a couple of times-I am sure that they would not miss it if you borrowed it for a few years-I mean -just how many times do you want something like that to bloom? I am sure to win Publisher's ClearingHouse, so will treat everyone to something-how about a cyber hug? (((( :) ))))
Donna, thank you so much for all the money!!!! Katrina, we sure struck it rich, didn't we???? Marcia, if I can arrange to borrow my neighbor's truck, can you sneak us in to capture the arum? They only weigh about 400 lbs, we can do it!!! Or maybe this is a job for BOBBY!!! Oh Wonder_Down_Under, got a minute? I just know that after I am done with him, this wonder team would be happy to go snag a couple of the bananas for you PD.
I got up through the T's last night (my pages are also stuck together ;D and have so far spent $140,000. Keep that press going Donna!
Kathy,
Ask...and you shall receive!!!!!
Donna
I know where the UW greenhouse is; also have a wonderful conservancy at one of the public gardens-lots of tropical plants--bring big truck and plenty of blankets-it is cold up here!!!
Hey, Marcia, rather than making a raid on the conservancy, how about just moving in? Think they would mind some houseguests, especially ones who will help with the "housework"? *grin*
Georgiaredclay, thanks! I can use all the money I can get!!!! Funny money for a funny gal ;D BTW, is that your photo in the center? For collateral, how about a lien on my unique farm fields? Not sure how much farm-grown munchkins go for nowadays, but at least $50/lb
The one and only. I think they would be more than $50/LB.
Moving in would be nice, beautiful gardens outside; new Thai Temple, neat gift shop and birdies in the conservatory.
Clean bathrooms, too.
Hey, Marcia, I "borrowed" Bobby from Wonder_Down_Under to help. Hop on and come over to Aimee's Garden Party. Maybe you can help me figure out how to drive this crazy thing. Hurry, before Laura notices he's gone! http://davesgarden.com/t/369400/
I will try to help drive-but we will definately not let Wintermoor near it, I read about the windmill and the cops and all. This is a hush-hush operation-this city takes it's treasures Real serious.!! We can drop by the party after and show the treasures!!
