Hey Go_Vols...you're right!

I received my Park or Parks Seed or Seeds catalog a few days ago and there are lots of changes. The page numbering was ok but the logo has changed as well as the name from Park Seed to Parks Seeds. Also, on the page where they show the family all the back to its inception, J. Leonard is not pictured this year and Karen has gone from President to Owner and ceo. Don't know if they had a spat or what the deal is. Also, in years past, the price of seeds would be good until the end of the following year. Now it's November 30, 2003. I bought lots and lots of seeds and plants from them when I first started gardening. I hope their quality hasn't gone down the tubes.

I keep hoping someone from Park's (Park) will "spill the beans" on whether we're reading too much into these changes, or if there's something afoot.

Here's a few tidbits,

After reading this and the other thread, I did a little research and, probably not a big deal, but their web URL is: parkseed.com, not parks. I know lots of companies shorten their name in some way to fit the address.....

This is my first year ordering from Park's Seeds, and part of the enticement: on their home page, they list "Order $100 or more and get Free standard shipping! Click for details.". After my (cough, cough!) order for $100 + a few, I received shipping charges well over $25. I had to e-mail them to remove the shipping fee's. They did.

I just placed my order on their web site. At least their web site is very nice and easy to use. Maybe they're spending the money on the web instead of the catalog.
They said all discounts will show up in the e-mail order conformation. The whole web site has the 'Park Seed' logo.
I hope they stay high class because they have things that cannot be found anywhere else!
