winter care for baby ginkos

I have potted up several baby ginko trees and they are currently in the unheated garage with the Japanes maples. The maples will come into the basement-but anyone know if the ginkos could make it in the garage? It got down into single digits last week-warmer this week. I could put them in a big box filled with mulch that never got on the garden--Anyone have any feedback??

They're really hardy. I had a baby survive the winter outside in a pot one year.

I love the ginko trees! I am just hoping that yours make the winter for you. I am pretty sure that they would be ok but I would put some insulation around the roots just to be really sure. Good Luck.
